About LocalRank-SEO & Who We Work With
What does LocalRank-SEO do?
We're a strategic partner for online visibility. We help businesses become easier to find, understand, and trust across Google and AI search. Depending on what you need, that could mean improving your website, sharpening your positioning, working on SEO or GEO, optimizing your Google Business Profile, or making sure your business information tells a consistent story. We look at how it all fits together.
What kinds of businesses are the best fit for LocalRank-SEO?
We work best with service businesses and organizations that already do good work and have real customers, but whose online presence hasn't quite kept up. We also help newer and growing businesses with a clear offer that want to build a strong foundation from the start.
I'm not sure which service I need. Where do we start?
We start by looking at your situation, not by trying to sell you a particular service. We'll see what's already working, what's holding your business back, and whether the priority is your website, positioning, SEO, GEO, Google Business Profile, or a combination. Then we'll recommend what makes sense to tackle first and what can wait.
Do I need to use all your services?
Not at all. Not every project needs a new website, SEO, GEO, and Google Business Profile work at the same time. We'll only recommend work that solves a real problem and has a clear purpose for your business.
Can you work with a brand-new business?
Yes, as long as you have a reasonably clear offer and relevant experience or early signs of genuine demand. Getting your positioning, website structure, and the foundations for Google and AI search in place early can save you from having to redo things later.
Websites & Your Digital Foundation
When is it time to update or rebuild a website?
Often when your business has moved forward, but your website hasn't. Maybe your services have changed, your audience is clearer, your quality has improved, or you've taken the business in a new direction—yet the website still tells the old story. At that point, it's about more than design. Your site may no longer support your sales, marketing, or credibility as well as it should.
What do you mean by a strong digital foundation?
A good website needs more than good visuals. We look at the positioning, content, page structure, customer journey, and SEO and GEO basics behind it. The goal is to create a clear, trustworthy home for your business that supports marketing, sales, referrals, and future growth in search visibility.
Do you handle website content, or just design and development?
Content is part of the work too. We start by understanding your business, customers, and offer. From there, we plan the page structure, customer journey, and content, then write or refine the website copy we've agreed to work on. Design and Framer development come after that groundwork.
Are SEO and GEO included in a new website project?
Yes. The SEO and GEO foundations are included from the start, rather than treated as separate add-ons. That means considering search demand and intent, mapping pages and topics, creating a logical structure, adding internal links and metadata, and making sure pages can be indexed. For AI search, we also make sure your services, audiences, locations, processes, and supporting evidence are explained clearly.
Does every business need a brand-new website?
No. If your current website has a solid structure, clear positioning, and a sound technical foundation, it may make more sense to improve specific areas—such as content, SEO, or GEO. We look at what actually needs attention before recommending a rebuild.
Will a new website guarantee more leads or sales?
No. A better website can make your offer easier to understand, present your business more clearly, build trust, and make it simpler for visitors to take the next step. But leads and sales also depend on demand, competition, marketing, your offer, and other factors.
SEO & Google Search
What is SEO, and what would you work on?
SEO helps your website better match the way potential customers search for services on Google. We review your current visibility, site structure, content, metadata, internal links, and technical setup. Then we work on the issues that make it harder for Google to understand or index your pages.
How do you choose which searches to optimize for?
We start with how customers actually describe their needs and what information they're looking for at different stages. Then we look at search demand and intent and connect relevant searches to the pages best suited to answer them.
What is keyword-to-page mapping?
It's the process of matching important searches with the pages that should answer them. It helps us spot missing topics, pages that compete for the same search, and services that would benefit from a dedicated page.
Is SEO just about adding keywords to website copy?
No. Keywords are only one part of it. SEO also involves site structure, headings, metadata, internal links, crawlability, indexing, redirects, canonical tags, structured data, and other technical work. The content still needs to read naturally and be genuinely useful to visitors.
Can you improve existing content, or do I need new pages?
Often, existing pages and articles can be improved significantly without starting from scratch. We check whether the content matches what people are searching for, covers the important topics, and needs a clearer structure, more precise wording, or better internal links.
Can you guarantee SEO results?
No. No provider can guarantee a particular Google ranking, level of organic traffic, or number of inquiries. Results also depend on competition, demand, Google's systems, and other factors. We focus on what can be improved and, where possible, use Google Search Console and other measurements to track changes.
GEO & AI Search
What is GEO?
GEO is about making the information available about your business easier for AI search systems to understand and describe. We improve its clarity, structure, answers to relevant questions, and supporting evidence so those systems have more useful context to work with.
How is GEO different from SEO?
SEO focuses primarily on how your website connects with Google searches and whether its pages can be found and indexed. GEO looks more closely at whether AI systems have enough clear context to understand what you do, who you help, where you work, how your services work, and why people can trust you. GEO builds on strong SEO and useful content; it doesn't replace them.
What information helps AI systems understand a business?
Clear information about your services, who they're for, the areas you serve, the situations you help with, how you work, what makes you different, the people behind the business, your experience, and credible proof of your work. When those details are missing, inconsistent, or scattered across pages, it's harder to interpret your business accurately.
What do you improve as part of GEO?
We review how clearly your business and services are explained, the questions customers ask, the criteria they use to compare providers, the answers your content offers, and how information connects across pages. We also look at internal links and existing proof. Where it makes sense, we improve structured data and test how selected AI search prompts currently describe your business.
Will schema markup help my business appear in AI search?
Structured data can make the information on your website easier for machines to interpret, but it's not a shortcut to AI citations or recommendations. It needs to reflect real, visible content and is only one part of a broader GEO approach.
Can GEO guarantee recommendations from ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity?
No. We can't control which businesses AI systems recommend or which sources they use. GEO focuses on making the information about your business clearer, better connected, and supported by credible evidence, so AI systems have a stronger basis for understanding and describing it.
Google Business Profile & Local Search
Who is Google Business Profile optimization for?
It's a good fit for businesses with a physical location or service area whose customers use Google Search or Google Maps to find, compare, visit, or contact service providers. Your business also needs to be genuinely eligible for a Google Business Profile.
What do you check in a Google Business Profile?
We review how complete and accurate your profile is, including its categories, services, links, photos, attributes, and reviews. We also look at how easily customers can take the actions that matter. Where useful, we compare local competitors to spot missing or unclear information.
What business details can be improved in a Google Business Profile?
Depending on your business, we can review your address, service area, phone number, website, hours, links, description, categories, attributes, and services. Your business name should match the name you actually use—we don't add extra keywords to it just to try to improve visibility.
Do you review photos and links as part of Google Business Profile optimization?
Yes. We review your existing photos and how the profile looks overall, and check that important links lead to the right place—whether that's a page on your website, a contact option, booking, menu, or directions. New photography and regular content creation aren't part of the standard service unless we agree on them separately.
Can you guarantee a higher ranking on Google Maps?
No. We can make your profile more accurate, clearer, and more useful to customers, but Google Maps and local search rankings can't be guaranteed. Competition, location, Google's systems, reviews, and other factors all play a part.
Google Reviews & QR Stickers
How does the LocalRank-SEO QR Review Sticker work?
Customers scan the QR code on the sticker and go straight to the correct Google review screen for your business. Before creating the sticker, we confirm your business and Google Business Profile to reduce the risk of linking to the wrong place.
Why choose your QR Review Sticker over a free QR code?
A free QR code can give you a simple link. Our solution is a ready-to-use physical sticker for asking customers for reviews. It includes checking the correct Google destination, design, printing, delivery, and a redirect link managed by LocalRank-SEO.
What is a managed QR link, and why does it matter?
The QR code on your sticker first opens a link managed by LocalRank-SEO, which then takes customers to the correct Google review screen. If that destination ever needs correcting, we can update the redirect without replacing the sticker.
Where should I place my QR Review Sticker?
Choose a spot where customers will naturally see it while their experience is still fresh. That might be a reception desk, checkout counter, payment point, the end of a service, a product or vehicle handover area, or near the exit.
Will a QR sticker guarantee more Google reviews?
No. The sticker makes it easier for customers to leave a review, but results also depend on how many customers you serve, the quality of the experience, placement, timing, and whether your team encourages reviews. We don't guarantee a particular number of scans, reviews, or an increase in ratings.
Can I use QR Review Stickers across multiple locations?
Yes. For multi-location businesses, we can coordinate the correct Google review destination for each location, keep the design consistent, prepare location-specific print files, and manage ordering centrally. We can also start with a small pilot before a wider rollout.
Working Together, Pricing & Results
How does a project with LocalRank-SEO usually start?
We start by getting a picture of your business today—your customers, goals, and online presence. Before recommending a specific service, we want to understand what's already working, what's holding you back, and where our work could make the biggest difference.
How much time will my team need to put in?
We'll need your knowledge of the business, access to the relevant accounts, feedback, and approvals that only you can provide. We take care of the strategy and delivery, keep responsibilities clear, and try to avoid unnecessary back-and-forth or asking you for the same information twice.
Who will I work with on my project?
Our projects are founder-led, so you'll speak directly with the people responsible for the strategy and the work itself. That means fewer handoffs, better shared context, and clearer decisions and responsibilities.
What determines the price of a service?
It depends on the service, your current setup, the number of pages or locations, languages and markets, content needs, technical complexity, and any additional work we agree on. Before we begin, we'll agree on the scope, responsibilities, and price.
Can you guarantee more sales, inquiries, or better rankings?
No. Google rankings, AI recommendations, inquiries, sales, and revenue depend on factors outside our control, including demand, competition, decisions made by search platforms, and your offer. We focus on the parts we can improve: clarity, technical quality, content, business information, supporting evidence, and the customer journey.
What happens after the project is finished?
At the end of a project, you'll have a clear overview of what's been done, any open questions, and the next priorities. Ongoing SEO management, AI visibility monitoring, regular content creation, Google Business Profile management, and other recurring work aren't automatically included in a one-off project, but we can arrange them separately if needed.
